The Bear Finale. I thought it was so beautiful and I’ve loved the conversations it’s sparked.

It shined a light on how powerful digging deep, leaning in to your vulnerability and sharing how you feel can be. Of course, it’s painful, that came across loud and clear, but ultimately it helps us feel connected. We realise we are not alone in our struggles. We feel less isolated.

A lot of us are missing out on connection. We communicate on a surface level a lot through what’s app and DMs and emails but how much time and opportunity do we make for real connection?

It isn’t easy, it takes a lot of bravery to share how we feel but if you can find just one person to do that with, that’s absolute gold! And if you want to start somewhere, my door is always open!

The day included:
✅ Gentle sharing circles and heartfelt connection @shanticinta
✅ Restorative yoga and mindful movement @hopehealss
✅ Nourishing, delicious food made with love @prepped.with.love
✅ A powerful visualisation workshop to open up hope, possibility and a sense of inner strength hosted by me!

I guided the group through a future focused visualisation, helping each person to connect with a vision of their future — one rooted in self-compassion, courage and hope.

The feedback was truly fab:

⭐️ “Really special to feel so connected and grounded.”

There is so much talk about Imposter Syndrome flying around. A lot of my clients come to see me about this. It has started to feel like it a given that all women should have Imposter Syndrome.

Having a highlight on it can be great for helping us identify what we are feeling, but giving it a name can make it much easier for us to start making it part of our identity which then makes it harder to overcome.

If you find yourself identifying with this. Try saying ‘I have moments of self doubt’ instead of ‘I have imposter syndrome’. This small change is the first step to gaining back control.

Another year, another course! Delighted to have achieved an Accredited Diploma in Transformative Coaching with Animas. A 6 month course, 40 hours of coaching and an assessed sessions to round it all off!

And now the work begins. I’ll be combining all my hypnotherapy, coaching and general life skills to offer something truly unique to help you unlock what’s holding you back and propel you forward to the future you want. Watch this space!

One of the most common fears that stop us doing things, is the belief that everyone will be looking at us and with that looking will come judgement.

The reality is, we’re normally all too busy looking at ourselves, worrying how much people are looking at us that we have no time to even look at others. And if we do, nine times out of ten, we’re looking with awe, no judgement.

Try to keep that in mind the next time you stop yourself taking action from doing something you want. No one is looking at you!

Our unconscious is responsible for 90% of our thoughts a day. Our brain is constantly scanning it for reference points to influence how we should react to situations.

If our learning from past events isn’t serving us, we need to change that learning. And this is exactly why I love hypnotherapy so much. We can access the unconscious and change those learnings to serve you better.

I lived with high functioning anxiety for a very long time. Completely oblivious this was a thing, I just thought it was who I was, someone very organised, well planned, thoughtful, ready for anything.

Growing up, there wasn’t an awareness of anxiety like there is now. And it never stopped me doing most things, so I just got on with it.

Until someone pointed it out to me.

Understanding that I can control my thoughts and behaviour has made me a calmer person. Of course I still have periods of anxiety, and I still pride myself on being organised and all the rest of it, but I know I can be in control of it.

I encourage you all to take this week as an opportunity to reach out or meet up with someone, without expectation, just to say hi to that friend who keeps popping in to your mind.
