What is Cognitive Hypnotherapy?
Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a modern, evidence-based therapy that blends the transformative elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt, Positive Psychology, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Hypnosis. It’s a solution-focused approach designed to effectively tackle negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs that often restrict our potential. It is believed that our unconscious drives the majority of our behaviour using past information to interpret present situations. Through techniques involving relaxation and trance states, Cognitive Hypnotherapy enables direct engagement with the unconscious mind, uncovering the root causes of unwanted behaviours. All the resources for change are within us; sometimes, we just need a little help unlocking them.

They’ll be no swinging watches and stage tricks; Cognitive Hypnotherapy is an engaging process where you’ll feel fully in control. Imagine a relaxed conversation where your deeper consciousness is accessed through guided questioning—this is what our sessions entail. You remain in complete control throughout, ensuring a safe and supportive experience. Each session typically lasts 60 minutes, with the number of sessions tailored to your personal journey and goals. While some clients achieve their objectives within just a few sessions, others may find ongoing sessions more beneficial. I recommend starting with at least three sessions to truly experience the benefits of our work together.

As a member of the NCH and QCHPA, my practice follows very clear ethical guidelines and unfortunately, I am unable to work with you if you have even been diagnosed with the following conditions -Epilepsy (the deep relaxation of hypnotherapy is contra-indicated) -Psychosis (Bi-Polar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Personality Disorder) -If you are already working with another therapist please let me know so we can discuss further.
About Me
After 15 years working within the fast-paced fashion industry, approaching burnout and not feeling fulfilled, I knew it was the right time to make a change. I have always loved helping people and knew I wanted to focus my next career doing exactly that.
I experienced Cognitive Hypnotherapy first hand, working on ways to manage anxiety related to a debilitating migraine condition and a serious lack of compassion towards myself. The results were remarkable and started an evolving journey of self-development. This journey saw me qualify from the Internationally renowned Quest Institute as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner.
I offer an open, safe and judgement free space for you to explore and work through your behaviour and emotions, to move you towards your solution state. My goal is always to empower my clients and help unlock the vibes inside!
