And still there's a voice that says it's only a matter of time before someone figures out you don't really belong here. That voice isn't the truth. But it feels like it is. And that's exactly what makes imposter syndrome so exhausting: it doesn't respond to logic. You can list every achievement, every piece of positive feedback, every time someone trusted you with something important and still feel like a fraud.
The issue isn't your CV. It's not your experience. It's the gap between what you've built on the outside and what you believe about yourself on the inside. And that gap has a source. In this session, we find it. And we close it.

What happens in the session?
This session is a one-to-one deep dive into the specific story your mind has been telling you and a structured intervention to change it.
The block. We start by mapping your particular version of imposter syndrome. What triggers it. Where it lives. What it's protecting. Through guided conversation and therapeutic questioning, we identify the belief beneath the behaviour, the moment or experience that taught you that you needed to earn your place over and over again.
The release. Using Cognitive Hypnotherapy, we work directly with the subconscious pattern driving the fraud feeling. We go to where the belief was formed and update it. We change the learning which in turn changes your beliefs and behaviours.
The science. You'll understand exactly what's happening in your brain when imposter syndrome fires, why high achievers are disproportionately affected, how threat responses masquerade as self-doubt.
The vision. A guided visualisation builds a new internal reference point, you’ll step in to the person who is already here, already enough, already seen. This isn't woo woo, it’s a dress rehearsal for your brain.
The plan. We close with a clear, personalised set of next steps so that the shift that happened in the session continues to compound. You leave with tools, not just insight.

Why it works
Imposter syndrome is not a mindset problem you can think your way out of. It's a deeply conditioned pattern that was formed, often in childhood or early career, and has been reinforced every time you succeeded and still didn't feel like it counted.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy works at the level where the pattern lives: below conscious awareness. Real results from a Breakthrough Session
My client came to me after she found herself in a new management position. Filled with dread every time she had to speak up in a room full of colleagues. She was sick of that internal dialogue continuously telling her she didn't deserve to be there, and that she didn't have any value to add. This was the promotion of her dreams, but fear was paralysing her.
In our 90-minute session, we got to the route cause of what was causing her imposter syndrome. We changed the learning from the memory stored in her unconscious that was keeping her held back. She left with a clear vision of her future self, and a new confidence to grow and evolve in to.
